That work problem I spent all day on? It was a single variable that I had incorrectly evaluated.

GRARGH.

Anyway, here I am at 7:30pm on a weeknight, trying to fix a few other bits and pieces about this piece of work. I have had a glass of wine, maybe that wasn't wise.

Tomorrow, I will agree to the contract with the other client, but will also ask for some adjustment of my compensation. My package used to be 10% superannuation from the company - 401K - but then the government increased the company requirement to 11%, and they didn't adjust the package, just took the extra 1% from my package, so now I have sliiightly less take-home pay. It's something like $10. But it's the principle of the thing.

If we don't have any extraordinary needs in the next six months, then a solid savings might see us get the mortgage off the books.

I think I said that last year, too, mind.

Okay, B1 is home and going to actually cook dinner (I made a salsa, but I forgot that she gets home late on Thursdays.).

Good for you. They need to not cheat on your benefits.
