Maybe not quite. Far Left can be as risky as Far Right, albeit in different angles and at different intensity.
(Basically, an inflexible ideological viewpoint which demands adherence to the ideology irrespective of whether the broader population follows that ideology is Bad News for everyone who isn't on that viewpoint. And the extremes of political thought are most prone to inflexibility, because they're extreme and they don't have to make allowances for the nuance scattered through the spaces between.)
Anyway, after fretting that France was going down, it's something.

This morning, there is mucho fog. It's a day for going back to bed, if only that was an option, alas!
I got up, went to the gym, walked for 500m (just to get the muscles warmed up), then did some stretches. I feel less stiff than when I woke up, but the right big toe joint is feeling twingy. Probably all the moving around I did on it in non-supportive shoes over the weekend...

It's a quiet week: school holidays, so no kids. My bible study won't be meeting midweek and I'm trying to decide if I want to try to clean up the place and invite friends over for a cuppa tea and supper. I kind of want to do that more, but it's mostly the cleaning up/tidying that's an issue.
Also: cat trees. They're a mess and not very neat and the cats just shred the sisal rope like nobody's business.
I need to look at some ideas for 'making cat trees that also work as bookshelves'. Because some combination bookshelves/cat trees would be amazing. I know they exist, but they seem to be fairly niche (pronounced: neeeesh) and not common and kind of expensive and not very sturdy.
...I wonder if I could pay a friend to make them?

And my cats are not generally ones to disturb books, unless they're left out with the pages open, in which case each cat will have a turn at shredding the pages...
