Found a teeny tiny egg in the chook yard! We don't know whose it is, but it's very odd!

Today was hot outside in the middle of the day (and in the afternoon). The inside of the house was pretty cool though (possibly too much so in the study, where I was working from home).

I went to the gym for the first time in over a month. Ran my klick on the treadmill, did some chest and shoulders work, then adductors and abductors. A few crunches, and some stretches. It's going to be more difficult because of commuting; the gym is 24 hour, but I honestly feel that before 7am is pushing it...and by 7am, I'm going to have to be in the city. So I'll probably be going after work when I can make it.

If you are a journalist, but you cannot make the distinction between an entire bridge being a problem vs "one accident per year when over a million cars cross that bridge every year", then...I would say you need to work on your language skills. Also, my mental health is fine. I'd thank you for asking, but I don't think it was out of concern. Rather, I think, you wanted to stigmatise me with implications of "Oh, this woman commenting on my thread, she's 'crazy'."

Tomorrow, I'm taking a day off to go visit Limestone Permaculture Farm, where I did my Permaculture Design Course. My permie group goes every year, and it's a good trip out with about a dozen people. Not as many people are making the trip this year, maybe they feel that they've seen it all? But Brett always has new and interesting things happening at his place; he's a pragmatic ideas man, with a way of looking at things that is bloody amazing, and I love visiting his farm and seeing what he's done since the last time I went!

Technically, tomorrow night I'm supposed to go to a "sewing-at-the-movies" event, except that I don't know if I'll make it back to Sydney in time, and then I don't know if I'll have the energy to go! Which is a pity; I've been looking forward to some kind of sewing group thing for ages. We don't get to see each other because all the kids got to primary school and started having extracurriculars, so the mums of the group could never make it. *sigh*

Dang. I need to go buy a restaurant gift card for a friend whose dad died the other week. I just haven't had time lately.

I take it that you have no bantams in your flock? What colour is it?

Have fun at the farm. Sound like it's very interesting.
