Lorne, tired, mid-morning.

It was only mid-morning and Lorne was tired of the mud.

One crashed jumper, one planetary EM field that blocks most of the signal from the gate, one team backtracking towards the gate.

One river delta and a whole lot of wading later, Lorne and his team were mired to the waist in mud, boiled from the sun that was considerably hotter now that it wasn't being filtered through the front screen of a 'jumper, and short-tempered from the wet, the mud, and the heat.

He was really tried of the mud.
