Today is my one-year anniversary of LJ story-posting!

A year ago today, I posted my first Stargate Atlantis story 'Worth Something', the initial push of what has turned out to be a very big snowball!

Some 50-ish fics later, while I can't say that I've never looked back, I can say that it's been a mad, wicked, crazy ride, all the way.

So, thank you for the feedback, for the comments, for the meta. Thanks for reading, for responding, for squeeing. Thanks for bearing with the crackfic, the bizarre scenarios, the varied pairings, and the occasional rants.

And a bazillion thank yous to my semi-regular betas, [livejournal.com profile] dzurlady, [livejournal.com profile] allisnow, and [livejournal.com profile] madjm. I'm still not sure how I got involved with you guys (oh, wait, it was that [livejournal.com profile] allisnow chick that got me into bloody fandom in the first place - I blame all the evil I have done here and elsewhere on her!) but your comments, time, and encouragement is appreciated liek whoa.

Finally, thank you to the people who read the fics, and doubly thank you to the people who leave feedback.

There was going to be fic in celebration of the day. Unfortunately the plotbunny has mutated and may not be done until Sunday.

They're for the [livejournal.com profile] stagesoflove challenge, written by [livejournal.com profile] skandrae, and I don't know how I missed them before!

Topic: the Five Stages of Sexual Arousal for Elizabeth/Ronon.

Desire: Blush
Excitement: Slow Burn
Plateau: Itch

You can feel the tension simmering through the story and the depiction is just right, both of them calm on the surface and raw beneath.

Beautiful.

Elizabeth/Ronon: Hearts In Atlantis

This manifesto was written for the [livejournal.com profile] ship_manifesto community and is a variation on my original manifesto - just expanded a little.

Yes, I know the title is corny.

I would have liked someone else to get in there and write the manifesto, but I couldn't see it happening and the hiatus was a good time to have it done.
