Weekends working. Office politics. Strong-minded, outspoken, stubborn types clashing heads. Deadlines and stress. Prima Donna programmers who think their work ends with the programmming[*], and completely SNAFU'd systems X1 should be point to X2, but it's pointing to Y2, while Y1 is pointing to X2 and shit is going to hit the fan.

This is why I liked contracting: you do the job, you get the hell outta dodge. The issues that crop up are not your shit to deal with.
