cooked, fried, baked, boiled, steamed - or, in tumblr-speak: I AM SO DONE

A fic of just over 1000 words took me an entire week to churn out.

During that time, I did nothing else creative. I couldn't write other stories (concentration was shot), I couldn't quilt (there was a deadline!), and I could barely brain.

That story was like pulling fingernails. And the result is not even particularly satisfying (to me). But it's done. *sigh*

And now to see if I can get a couple of thousand more words to watch the queen conquer (the story of the Pacific Rim universe told by the women) before whoever's running heroinebigbang remembers that last week was the First Draft Due date...
