I'm back.

Well, I'm in Hong Kong, anyway, which does allow LJ and so I'm essentially back and have fic bits to post all over the place. :)

Since I'm not game to check out the last, oh, two weeks of LJ, anyone want to update me on the spoilers, goss, explosions, wank, rants, freaks, and good news on the fandom front?

Right now, it's suffering the "worst winter in 50 years" (which China was also suffering) only their 'worst winter' is down to, oh, about 5 degrees C - apparently it's usually only about 10C at the coldest.

But, yeah, HK is growing on me as a city. I don't know that I'd like to live here, but all in all, compared with some cities I've visited in my travels, I'd rather live/work here than quite a few other places!

Heh. I lived there in 2000 from August - December. The weather was very nice.

I didn't love in the city - I was on the Kowloon side, near Sai Kung, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I really loved living out there. We were about 40 minutes from central Hong Kong.

I would love to live overseas, but getting Andy to go to Canada is hard enough! He's not a traveler.
