Saw the ENT (ear-nose-throat) specialist.

I have a spray for my nose, which the ENT believes will widen my nasal passages, and help me breathe easier, which will lead to better sleep, better relaxation, and less tension in my jaw and head.

*sigh*

I don't think I'm going to get any relief for the swollen cheek. It's not visibly swollen, there's nothing that the dental professionals can do without surgery and they say it's an ENT-related issue. The ENT doesn't think it's a problem, just a symptom - the last straw in my body's struggle against my teeny tiny nasal passages.

I'm hoping that the current round of headaches and waking feeling not-so-well-rested (although I sleep pretty soundly at least - no waking up in the middle of the night) is a temporary 'out of one state and into another' phase.

Although the headache - really, a muscle that pulls hard about 2" up the right nape, into the hairline, and which tightens just about everything across my right scalp from the temple to the back of the head - may be from leaning over the quilting frame for the better part of 4 hours at a stretch. Which, there's nothing I can do abut that right now.

I have two weeks to get my quilts finished. And the quilting frame/machine is entry level, not quite what I'm used to.

But to have space for a frame, we'd need to renovate. Which is not in the present budget. And B1 is making noises about B2 moving in with us which...I'm going to need a whole other post to deal with my feelings about that. And probably a therapist so I can work through things with someone who isn't involved.

That comes under health, too, though - mental health.

Anyway, I shall struggle my way through until Monday when I hope to be able to get a massage of some kind...
