Disco Shiloh

I always forget how much effort the Shiloh Satchel is, even when simplified. There needs to be structuring to this bag because it's pretty top heavy, and it's not always enough to hold it all up and together.

But it's such a pretty, useful bag! *whines*

Anyway, this is the early early stages. The colour in the photo isn't accurate to real life - the blue is the same as the Parisville bowl bag.



I'm skipping the handles, and just going for the shoulder strap, although now - given my uncertainty about whether the parallel gold lines properly evoke the uniforms - I'm wondering if maybe I should have gone for the handles and made Federation logo shaped handle plackets. (Eh. Too much effort given I have until the weekend to do this and how complicated this is going to be.)

Why would you create a function that does exactly what the spec requires, and then not tell the person who's working on the development that the function exists?

I'm half-convinced that this guy is trying to get rid of me by making me look bad.
