I welcomed the new year with stomach troubles. Probably that clotted cream that expired before Christmas. Unwise decision.
Result: This morning I am bloody exhausted. Probably dehydrated (I need to get my water bottle over here) and tired. But I did have food so my sugar levels should not be dire.

My doc insisted on a coronary calcium scoring after my cholesterol levels turned up high again. I got it done on the 30th and the results are back, and I'll have to discuss with the doc next week. I suspect a food management plan is imminent.
More salads/green vegubles is not a terrible thing. Eating more of what's in my garden, more beans, pulses, grains, and lentils, and less processed stuff is good! It's just not easy.

I have quite a lot happening in January.
1. A friend is having to move after her boyfriend ended up in prison (I don't know the full story, but she believes he's innocent) and I offered to help her move back in with her parents, along with several other friends.
2. I signed up to do kids' church back in early December before the Sydney cluster came out. My church won't cancel services unless the government declares a lockdown, mostly because the ministers are not big "onliners" (well, I guess most people aren't). They're for masking in the community, and following the regulations, but if the regulations don't insist on it, then they don't insist on it either... It's not "mah freedumbs", it's just that they'll follow the letter of the law rather than the spirit. So I might have to bow out because...
3. Friends whose wedding was delayed from April last year have rebooked in Sydney for the 9th January. And it was all looking so good before this Sydney cluster and the reluctance of the (conservative) Premier to do anything about it beyond implore people to 'do the right thing'.
4. My stepbrother's wedding is the weekend after on the 17th January. They're really worried about being shut down b/c of COVID and I'm mildly worried about the things I've been doing (and the things my sisters have been doing - particularly B2 who's an extrovert and threw a shitfit on Boxing Day because we suggested that maybe going over to visit the cousins was not ideal).
I want to isolate as much as possible, but doing kids' church is worrying me, and So it's not great right now.
I'll do a fic retrospective another day, but this year was highly unproductive compared to previous years.
