Snowflake Day #4: adding to canon

Maria Hill was integral to the connection of the Avengers to broader world security. When she left, in the time between Age of Ultron and Civil War, her absence and the loss of her pragmatism resulted in World Security continuing to run on automatic for a bit but the wheels eventually falling off.

(I waver between her absence being due to personal illness, Fury made demands of her time, or the Avengers simply didn't bother to keep the relationship going, thinking they could do it themselves. Or possibly a combination of all three factors.)

Back is sore and strained. Feeling vaguely meh about the house and cleaning and clearing and everything.

Have to make a Peach Upside Down Cake for church. (Don't have to but I want to. I have peaches and I want to make cake. WHO'S GONNA STOP ME.)

Should be planting things out, but see: back.

B1 hasn't actually been up for any longer than she has to be for work or reports the last couple of days. Oh, and the Ukrainian Christmas Eve.

I could make today's goal to tidy up two piles of papers and throw out a couple of binders that aren't needed anymore.

Kind of want to go to the beach, but maybe save that for tomorrow. I can have most of tomorrow off, I think.
