SGA promos

You might have seen these around: they're the ones of the backlot taken by the LA Times. Full set are visible here.

But I only nipped the ones I wanted to icon (ie. the team). I don't think there are any plot spoilers although there might conceivably be location spoilers.

There is one pic... The one with Sheppard, the candles and the pear... We all know how I love JF but... maybe he's tired when the pic was taken but he looks older... Still very handsome thouh!

And Teyla's hair... :D

I'm so excited. Though it starts the same day as the boy's birthday... I am saddened by this :(

Look at it this way; I never get to watch the ep until 24 hours after it shows in the US, so I miss a lot of the initial reaction.

Oh, yay! I was having a hard time looking at the pics at the Times website (kept freezing my computer, rar), so thank you for posting these! Man, the camera really likes Rachel, doesn't it? *stares*

I had some trouble with the Times site, too - for a while, it started throwing up 404 - Page Not Found errors at me. Then I worked out that if I clicked on the pic I wanted and not just the 'next' button... Must have been some faulty coding...

Man, the camera really likes Rachel, doesn't it?

Oh, it does! The lighting works beautifully on the planes of her face.

Although I do wish a few more photographers, publicists, and iconners loved her as much as the camera. There have been precious few episode promo pics of Rachel.

They're not as sharp as they could be (I'm a bit surprised, it being the LA Times) but the lighting and the photographic capture of it more than makes up for it.
