post-completion blues

I just sent off the mail to the Big Bang mods, hope I got it right.

*is drained*

Back when I was still writing Big Bang, I told myself I'd work on Pegasus Ascendant, Pegasus Reloaded, and In The Game until my birthday in a couple of weeks, then switch over to the original fiction story I promised an RL friend for October.

Right now, I'm feeling a little empty.

I get that after completing something, too. If it took me a little while to write, or if the story was kicking my butt, then when it's done I feel like I have no stories left in me. Occasionally I also feel like I never want to write anything ever again.

Granted I've never hit anything near the wordcount you did in such a short period of time, but, yeah. I know what you mean.

On a totally other topic...

Did you write a story about bug!Shepp... and was it called Nexus? Or something similar? If you did, or if you wrote a diff bug!Shepp fic, could you link me up?

I'm not surprised you feel empty. That BigBang must have been like giving birth! I think everyone feels empty for a while after the baby comes out!
