Bones is very hit and miss. This one was a hit.

I watched five minutes of the next one, and it was a miss. *waves hand* I'll get around to watching it sometime, I guess.

What I really want is to see the one after the one on the plane with Max Brennan, who is always awesome and fantastic.

Now I'm watching Sanctuary: Fata Morgana. And watching Amanda Tapping dissecting an 'abnormal' with all the care with which one carves up the Sunday roast. Anyone for rare?

Will still reminds me of Michael Shanks in the stark shadow scenes. I think it's the bone structure. And he's annoying me. Actually, the tendency for the writers to go for Nice Dramatic Moments is annoying me, too. "Oh noes, there's a crisis happening! We must now pause, monologue - or, even better, dialogue! Because no crisis is complete without Daniel proselytising Rodney panicking Will the audience Will taking a moment to adjust his mental state and being informed by Helen of what's going on!

Right now, there are various things about the show that are bugging me. I have been told that most of these things aren't an issue in future episodes or else get better/develop perspective. So, we'll see. I have another five eps downloaded and I'm willing to give it a chance.

I like Sanctuary, but the thing that bothers me about it is Amanda Tapping's British accent. It sorta comes and goes at odd times, as though the word starts out in a British accent, but it dissolves towards the end of the word. And it could be that she's trying to play it as an accent affected by years in America, but still... Maybe it's just me, but it drives me a little batty. :)
