I need an ice suit before I scratch my skin off.

It's SO DAMN HOT.

I think we need to arrange a swap. You go outside and fill up a box with your air and ship it here to Vermont, and I'll go outside and collect some for you.

It was warm today. I only had two (2!) layers on to go out and exercise, and I left my gloves in the car. Very soon I will need a minimum of 4, using high-tech modern wicking and insulating fabrics. It's fall here, and serious snow and cold is yet to come, but breathing down our necks.

Truth be told, I like my climate, and I enjoy winter, just not the first fifteen to twenty minutes after I go outside, when my face and fingers hurt with the cold. I never used to appreciate summer heat much, but having the winters we do has made me revel in a season when I can feel warmth bone deep. Summer is pretty short here. The standard joke (and exaggeration, but you didn't hear that from me, I'm a loyal Vermonter, I tell you!] is that we have 9 months of winter, and three months of damn poor sleddin'.
