Not great, but watchable the first time. I think it might grow a little annoying on re-viewing. Still, contains an interesting twist for Tesla, as it turns out.

sholio's frustration with this show sometimes: we're told the characters are intelligent and clever and all that, but...they do some very dumb things. eg. Tesla's double-ended de-vamping device? Riiiight. One of the key rules of a fight: never throw something at your enemy that they can throw back at you. (Vases are useful this way, so long as you throw them with enough force the first time.)
Will and Kate do a rather neat good cop/bad cop combo (but they'd never survive Teyla and Vala). Still, the interrogation scene felt very white-hattish. And, you know, a part of me wants to see Magnus throw someone out the airlock for real.
Okay, so I've decided that Tesla annoys me. It's all that posturing and ego - and, I suspect, my own thwarted frustration with the character. I feel like Nikola Tesla should be the Magnificent Bastard of the Sanctuary series, but doesn't manage to fill the boots sufficiently to qualify.
I am curious as to where they take this storyline from here, though.

I think someone has accidentally entered my number into their phone as one of their friends' while updating their phonebook. I just got a text from someone asking me to dinner at 'Lockeys' at 6:30.
I figured it was a group from work heading out to someone's place, so I said "thx but no, have hockey at 8pm".
Then they texted me the details before asking me how the study was going. At which point, I worked out that this strain of conversation was not meant for me and told them to "pls check your number and dial again". And got another message noting that I was supposed to be doing my Navy study. Um, no. Wrong number, mistah.
I wish I'd texted "who the hell is this anyway?" the first time.
They seem to have gone silent now anyway...
