4500 words this weekend. It's all discards. I keep writing scenarios that don't fit the prompt and it's so bloody frustrating.

I've found that bingo is good at helping you avoid the messy detail of getting characters in the right place for it. Of course, I mostly dabble in H/C bingo, which is probably a lot easier, as far as writing reactions go >_> .

But it sounds like you puzzled the main difficulties out. So at the least, it should go easier the next time you get a ridiculous prompt like whatever you got. And of course I hope you still do manage to blackout your card, if you've got the time for it. It just sounds like you're up against late-stage NaNo obstacles, here, which O_O . Impressive and scary.

Hey, as long as it's a present, non-minor idea in the story, that should be good enough for bingo! Part of the fun is coming up with new or unexpected takes on the prompts, in my opinion.

Otherwise, that's a really interesting idea for a series! And definitely one you could carry a long way, depending on the prompts you got, and given this pairing.

Only real advice I can give there is that any plot is better than no plot. And even then, I don't always follow that advice myself >_> .
