Just one fic. Kink Bingo. I was hoping to get a blackout on a little 3x3 bingo card for Kinky April (or whatever they're calilng it).
Unfortch, I only realised the tack I should take last night and wrote the notes this morning. But now I have shipswap due in four days and it's going to be at least 5K. EEK!
*wince* Oooh, jeez. I mean, it sounds doable, especially if you're not going to be terribly busy otherwise. But it definitely sounds like it'll be one of those things that sucks along the way.
At least you can still get points if you don't manage a blackout? And maybe you can recycle your notes for another card.
I just really wanted to finish this bingo card - it's a series of fics, and
I got stuck at this one kink that was just a little too specific and not
quite Steve/Maria. Which meant I had to get them to the right place for it,
which means lots of writing, and ack argh bugger drat damn bother!
I've found that bingo is good at helping you avoid the messy detail of getting characters in the right place for it. Of course, I mostly dabble in H/C bingo, which is probably a lot easier, as far as writing reactions go >_> .
But it sounds like you puzzled the main difficulties out. So at the least, it should go easier the next time you get a ridiculous prompt like whatever you got. And of course I hope you still do manage to blackout your card, if you've got the time for it. It just sounds like you're up against late-stage NaNo obstacles, here, which O_O . Impressive and scary.
Well, it's also that it's planned as a progressive series - 9 stories about
the relationship with each story having a 'kink' theme to it. Admittedly,
sometimes the kink theme is pretty weak in order to get the story out...
Hey, as long as it's a present, non-minor idea in the story, that should be good enough for bingo! Part of the fun is coming up with new or unexpected takes on the prompts, in my opinion.
Otherwise, that's a really interesting idea for a series! And definitely one you could carry a long way, depending on the prompts you got, and given this pairing.

Is this just one fic, or are you trying for different fics?

Well, I got through to #5 without trouble! And then #6 is the one that I've written and re-written and re-written and re-plotted and...
