Does anyone else feel like the hemline should be shorter? Or is that just me?

Twenties

It's a pretty easy fix if need be. I'm just...it's pretty good but not quite and a hemline is something that I could do in an hour or two.

Yeah, the skirt could be a little shorter without contravening 1920s fashion norms, though I'm not a good enough judge of fashion to know whether that would make the dress look how you want it to on you :)

I feel like it would look more accurate if it were shorter, but I'm not an expert. But it seems like flapper-era skirts were knee-length, not lower.

If you're going for accuracy, that's the right length.

Then whatever floats your boat. I'm not the one to ask on pure aesthetics grounds. ;)

I think the hemline is about right, but for full 1920s aesthetic it could possibly use a bit of fringe somewhere.

The fringe is a 1950s Hollywood invention. It wasn't a thing in the 1920s, not really.

Cool, good to know!

IT'S SO PRETTY. That does look about the right length?

The length looks right to me. Hemlines were just below the knee or longer (if you're going for accuracy). Shorter hemlines than that are a Hollywood invention.

I like the length. And that color looks stunning on you!

Where are you working in the beading?

If I were you I'd take the hemline up a bit, I think that if it cut you at the shortest part about 2/3 down thigh it'd make you look a bit longer. BUT it's super cute as is too.
