Apparently there was a ‘terror scare’ on Melbourne public transport his morning.
A musician with their instrument case in a satchel was doing ‘deep breathing exercises’, caused someone on the train to panic and call the transit cops, and the trains were evacuated – not nicely and calmly, but with people calling their family and friends and telling them they loved them and it was a terrorist attack.
The cops kind of panicked, too, tbh. Shouting at people instead of instructing them, herding people back into the train when they were running off trying to escape the ‘terrorist’. Apparently it was a pretty traumatic morning for some people.
Bet 1. Musician was dark-skinned.
Bet 2. Reporter was white or white-passing.
