Every 2 hours last night was kind of generous.

A friend once said she didn't sleep for a longer period than 2 hours for 9 months after her son was born. This is me after one night and when I know that I'll get more sleep in a couple of days.

(ftr: friend and her son are hale, he's a teenager now)

Anyway, I've logged in for work, but I'm kind of exhausted and probably not thinking particularly clearly. Today is going to be dogged.

Found a suitable couch on a secondhand site, need to sort out pickup and delivery.

I also arranged to move the stuff in the storage into a smaller storage this weekend. On reflection, maybe that wasn't a good choice of day/weekend with everything going on.

I don't know your situation - but have you thought about the Mirena IUD? A few years ago I whined at my doctor about "when can all this BLEEDING just STOP???" - and she suggested the IUD. She said that for a lot of people, periods actually stop entirely once you have it put in - and that has definitely been the case for me - and it is a lower dosage of hormones than regular birth control pills.

I honestly had no idea that it was an option - so I always want to share my experience in case it is an option for someone else. I wish I had found out about it 20 years ago!
