TITLE: Ronon Dreams
CHARACTER: Ronon
RATING: G

He dreams of long corridors, red and blue floor that passes beneath his feet as he runs, and the glimpse of silver spire and azure sky through wide windows.

New Athos is leaf and twig and the earthen furrow beneath his boots; tentcloth and tentpeg and wooden post; the laughter of children, the murmurs of adults, no different to any other planet on which Ronon ran.

Sometimes he wonders if Atlantis was just something his run-fevered mind conjured, if he imagined the endless ocean and the salty sky.

Then he meets Teyla's gaze and knows it was real.

TITLE: No Home
CHARACTER: Teyla
RATING: G

Teyla has learned not to mourn what is lost and gone.

There are trading agreements to confirm and common-use settlements to negotiate, a settlement to build and her people to succour. Her hours fill up and there is not time to fret or miss what is no more.

Until the tent flap falls down behind her at night, after the common meal and the day's retelling in fire. Then she wishes for the sound and scent of the sea.

Her people are her heart, but she feels out of step, out of season.

New Athos is no home to her.

TITLE: The Weight Of The Mountain
CHARACTER: John
RATING: PG

John lies in bed at night, and the weight of the mountain crushes him.

He talks to Rodney but it's not the same. Carson's busy in the infirmary or the labs, and no-one's seen or heard from Elizabeth in weeks.

Lieutenant Nelligen found him standing at the top of the dunes on P5M-354 the other day, staring out at the sea, drinking in its scent. For a few moments, he could pretend he was home.

Sooner or later, he'll have to find an apartment. Get a car. Live on Earth, not in Pegasus.

He resists, refusing to give up hope.

TITLE: Like Coffee For Chocolate
CHARACTERS: John, Teyla
RATING: PG-13
NOTES: John/Teyla [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 - prompt #017 - Brown

John introduced Teyla to coffee the morning after the fiasco with her necklace and the capture of Steve-the-Wraith.

He intended it to be his way of apologising for recent events: his part in setting off her necklace with his gene, Weir's reservations, Bates' suspicions...everything, really.

Teyla took a hesitant sip at his urging, and the barely suppressed grimace on her face made him grin – apparently coffee wasn't her idea of the perfect start to the morning.

Athosian tea was pretty strong stuff; John had figured coffee was the next step. Clearly not.

He pushed forward his backup plan.

"Have some chocolate?"

TITLE: Worlds Apart
CHARACTER: Elizabeth
RATING: PG-13
SPOILERS: First Strike and S4 vague.

Worlds apart, she tries not to think of him too often. It has the hallmark of obsession.

Simon used to say she was too passionate and focused for her own good. Elizabeth doesn't recall him ever protesting when that passion and focus was on him - particularly after she arrived home from a month-long set of negotiations and they spent most of the night in bed.

In Atlantis, there was the city and its running to oversee. Passion was something she channelled into her work, not her personal life. Usually.

Her life has been oddly passionless since she left Atlantis - since she left him. But that's another thing she doesn't think about. As it is, the news that comes to her from Atlantis is sprinkled with messages from the people she knows there - but nothing from him.

So she looks forward to Teyla's arrival as ambassador from Pegasus, to stand as representative during a set of negotiations Elizabeth will be making on behalf of Atlantis. And when the day comes for the transfer, Elizabeth's down in the gateroom, ready to stand as first contact.

The wormhole connects, spits out its traveller, and Elizabeth stares in hope and blushing disbelief.

It's Ronon.

TITLE: Complicated
PAIRING: John/Teyla
RATING: PG-13
NOTES: John/Teyla [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 - prompt #007 - Days

John loves the scent off her skin, the smell of her hair.

The women of Earth seem staid by comparison to the women in Pegasus: Chaya, Teer, even Mara, who came as a complete surprise to him.

And Teyla, who watches his back and kicks his ass, who smiles at his attempts to seem witty, and tolerates his foolishness.

He tries not to remember the smooth taste of her mouth. Some days it's more difficult than others, when he's restless and horny, and wishes he'd gone with his instincts and made the move earlier on.

It's all complicated now.
