Man, I'm tired. And the votes for the Isis Awards are due in by Monday (Tuesday morning for me) with the sorting and the organising and the counting and the double checking and the deading and the argh...

And apparently the Stargate Fan Awards are also taking nominations for this year's awards! Thankfully, I'm not involved in that. If organising the Isis Awards is a headache, then organising the SFA is probably a migrane. Or possibly hell in fandom.

No, actually, it's not hell in fandom. I've been to hell in fandom. It's neither pretty, fun, nor something I care to experience again.

Also, sgatlantislight is looking for the essential John Sheppard fics (that don't feature McShep or Shweir), as well as the essential Teyla Emmagan fics. Of course, rather than just running in and nominating everything you've ever read that you liked, why not pick a handful of stories (gen, het, femmeslash) that encapsulate the essence of the characters?
