I'm planning on running two thing-a-thons in the coming months before the SGA S5 premiere.

1. a Teyla thing-a-thon: Teyla, Teyla het, Teyla gen, Teyla team, (eta) Teyla slash - whatever the kink, as long as it's about Teyla.

2. a Teyla-and-John thing-a-thon. Friendship as well as romantic - the other thing-a-thons that I've seen (Teyla/Rodney, Teyla/Bates) are friendship as well as relationship and I'm all for more friendship fic - the kind of stuff that the SGFAs term 'duet fic'.

Actually, what I'd love to see is a fic where John's the geek and Teyla's the action-hero. You know? Usually Rodney's the one coming up with the ideas and John executes them; but what I'm thinking of is where John's the one who works out the technical stuff and Teyla runs around and does the heavy lifting (promting teasing later on) - only more balanced in function, obviously.

I know that I can get some participation in these thing-a-thons off LJ, I'm wondering about the participation on LJ. So leave a comment if you think you'd be interested (pending other commitments and RL) in participating in either. Also, if you've got timing concerns, let me know about them, too!

(Actually, I'd love to hold a Teyla/John thing-a-thon just before my birthday in August, as a kind of birthday present to myself! Alas.)

I'd be interested in the Teyla thing-a-thon, but are you not going to allow Teyla slash? You didn't specifically mention it like the others, but I do feel the need to ask.

I'd be thrilled to join a Teyla thing-a-thon. My limitation is that I'm doing art for SGA Big Bang, though it sounds like the premiere will get here first.

I'd love to enter both, expect in August we have weddings back to back, and being Indian we have these fabulous, but at times tiring, lead up to the wedding day, then there's post wedding, which is cool :) but, my point, August won't be good for me. Hopefully, August is the only month where every day is taken by damn family functions/wedding lead ups...

May/June/July would be fabulous for Teyla thing-a-ton :) and J/T ...
