Bones: I'm almost up to date with the US - still have the 1st half S2 to watch, but the interesting storylines (Max Brennan, Bones/Sully, Stephen Fry, the Gormagon, Max Brennan's trial) all happen in the 2nd half of S2 and in S3.

I'm avoiding spoilers for the finale and S4. It's better that way.

Moonlight: watched the first ep after the hiatus, and then...kinda haven't watched the others. The cancellation of the show doesn't help. Sadly, it looked like they were just getting out of their setup UST period and into some mythology arcs, which would have been very enjoyable to watch. Alas, no cigar. But I'll watch the rest of the eps sometime. It was an enjoyable series, and did some wonderful things with character interactions. Obviously not as wonderful as Bones, but not bad.

Sarah Connor Chronicles: I have tried to get into this, but I just can't seem to connect to it. I don't know why - Lena Headley is awesome and so is Summer Glau. I think it may be that I am possibly the only person in the universe who liked the third Terminator movie - that they didn't prevent Judgement Day, only delayed it - and that in the intervening years, John Connor became a loner and a wanderer, and began to lose his belief that he really was the Saviour of the world. I liked that he had to find his roots again and go back to who he'd been trained to be, even as he tried to end the threat of Judgement Day once and for all.

The Dollhouse: I dropped by to have a look at one of The Dollhouse comms - it's already got 300 members. And the show doesn't even come out until January next year! January next year. *shakes head* The premise looks intriguing, but from the clip I saw, Tahmoh Penikett seems awfully like Helo as an FBI agent. I look forward to watching Eliza Dushku, though. At the least, I'll give it a go. Whether I like it or not, we'll see.

Dr. Who: Must get the S4 eps off my "dealer". He saves me bandwidth.

:( I didn’t know they’d cancelled Moonlight. I really love that show. I’m not sure where it was headed, but Mick and Beth had amazing chemistry. And I’m pretty much a sucker for any show that has Logan… I mean Jason Dohring in it.

And you’re not alone! I loved T3! Beginning to end, even that huge bit with like 15mn without dialogue. It’s so weird to watch. All you hear is metal getting crushed and wheels spinning!

I also love how John really comes into his own and assumes his destiny. It’s good that Sarah wasn’t there to see it though, that she died hoping it had been averted. It was never her destiny but she really took it upon herself to try and stop it, to keep John and Kyle from having that life.

But it’s inevitable! And I think it very apparent in the show. Never mind the time paradox of Terminators going back in time to help Judgment Day come about, the entire franchise is kinda built on the same paradox. But you do get to see how a lot of different people, unaffiliated with each other are “working” to start it. It’s even argued, in T3, that it’s part of human nature.

Now I pretty much love Doomsday scenarios, I’ll be hiding in a bunker somewhere on December 22, 2012 (the date of the X-Files Apocalypse). But what I like in Terminator movies is that all it’s ever been about, the one rule to abide by is keeping John Conner alive because the resistance eventually wins. That’s the future.

Did you hear they’re making a T4? Focusing on john as an adult freedom fighter? Starring… Christian Bale! I’ve been very blessed with the Terminator movies. Unlike the new Star Wars or even Indiana Jones, I’ve loved the casting in all of them. Even Claire Danes convinced me. Now only a few years to wait!

You're right, most episodes of Moonlight survived merely because Mick passed out in the desert or Beth sniffed vampire blood. I tuned in for the character interaction, even though it could be intellectually painful some times.

You really see two people getting to know each other, asking questions you would ask and so on. And they had excellent chemistry! Inniway, I've decided to just think of it as mini-series. It helps.

About the Terminator movies,I think it's also cause James Cameron wasn't involved in the project. His ex-wife (Linda Hamilton) got the rights in the divorce and sold them! He then declined to participate in other projects.

It's like Batman 3, people hated it(cause it reeeaaallllly sucks!) but also almost on principle, cause the "Master", Tim Burton didn't make it after doing the first 2.

It's like T3 got demoted the minute it wasn't Cameron's vision anymore, just another Schwarzenegger Blockbuster. I also expected it to be bad, I just got over it. Not everyone is as open-minded. :)

I loved Terminator 3, but it does seem generally hated. I'm not sure why.
