John has issues with bath tissues. Or is possibly thinking of something that he can't quite remember. I love how this starts with a broad focus that draws in and in and in until we're looking directly at the point of the story.

It would take a crisis to make John unfold like this, and a crisis it is! Has both a team angle and a strong trust theme between John and Teyla.

Hear No Evil, See No Evil. Except way, way, way cooler than Gene Wilder and the guy from Brewster's Millions. The only way it could have been better is with an NC-17 scene in there. I'm just sayin'!

Exquisite quality photomanips - the type of which I wish there were more with a John/Teyla theme. And the first one, with Ronon, is so funny, too!

John plays 'Barbie doll' with Teyla's son, while Teyla looks on, amused. The art in this is wonderful, and I love love love Teyla's raised eyebrow.

fic: Long Way Home by muccamukk
Fragments of life in Atlantis, and a growing friendship between John and Teyla. Awesome stuff.

fic: Helping Hands by wildcat88
After her people, Teyla struggles with her identity. The detail of her people, the action in the market, and Teyla's final understanding are all wonderfully expressed, and the characters are just right - both serious and humourous and sweet and angry all as they should be.

art: Maze by pentapus
Hey, I'd play this computer game! I don't know that I could code it (I don't know the right languages - C++ was a long time ago, and I never learned graphics) but I'd play it!

fic: A Conspiracy Of Cartographers
Teyla gets a glimpse into John's past through an unexpected source. Wonderful, bittersweet, and yet also funny.
