For the Q&A and/or commentary on the story/writing process, were there any particular questions that people wanted answered?

The scene in the beginning with John in the tava bean field (remembering Teyla's face) stands out to me, particularly because of the vivid imagery. Did you always plan to have that scene included in the story (seems like it, since it's so important), or how did you develop it?

How did you come up with Ivali's character (and her name)? It seems like you would have felt the need to create her because John needed some kind of support apart from his team when he was trying to find himself. So, did Ivali change much from how you originally imagined her, and if so, how much?

What are some of the scenes that required major rewriting, as you mentioned in your journal posts about the progress of your story? Why did you have to rewrite them?

The UST between John & Teyla - Was is always meant to be unresolved, or did you decide upon it over the course of writing the story?

That's all I got for now. ;)

i don't know how good any of these question are going to be but here goes:

1. If john;s love for teyla can transcend another version of himself does, why does he not pursue her when he gets his memory back?

2. Is the emergence of Yan, john's way of living a life with no responsibilities, is this what he desires most? Also is his relationship with Ivali a transference of his feelings for teyla?

3. Will some aspects of Yan remain in John.?

i have some more that i will post later

I really appreciated the understated strength and calmness of Teyla in APoM... I find it very difficult to write that without her seeming aloof, or (god forbid) cliche... Does writing Teyla come easily to you? Or is it something you need to try hard at?

Also - why did you decide to have the CHAIR give John back his memories?

And did you mean for Ivali to be a mirror of Teyla? And if so, did you mean for her to... 'fail' in comparison? She couldn't integrate and she gave up on John in a way that Teyla never did.

And why did Jack come to Atlantis for John?

The scene (my favourite) where John remembers the kiss and tells Teyla he remembers how she tasted... had you always intended that scene? Why do you always have Teyla so closed off to Yan? Is she afraid that he will push the boundaries in a way John never would? Because John understood? But then if that is the case, why does she keep spending time with him? After their scene in the kitchen, she had her reservations but still spent time with him and then again with the kiss.
