The tricky part about today (Day 3) is that we're going to lunch for a guy who's leaving the office. Thai Restaurant. I think that I could have the beef Tom Yum soup without trouble, though. No noodles or rice allowed, which is going to be a bummer. No duck or lamb permitted, either. Not yet.

Day 2:
breakfast
2 slices smoked salmon
1 tea egg
1 tub (175g) yoghurt (yoplait frome strawberry flavoured)

lunch
8 pieces tuna sashimi
2 slices smoked salmon
1 small steak

dinner
three small pieces fish (snapper, like fish cocktail size)
4 mussels
3 prawns
about 5-6 pieces calamari
about 4 tablespoons of yoghurt (yoplait forme strawberry)

over the course of the day
- about 1.5L water
- ½ can of coke zero
- 1 cup tea

I haven't been feeling hungry very often in the end. And while I had a couple of moments of "ooh, munchies-that-I-can't-have", they've passed with the judicious application of water.

Got some oat bran off the parentals, so that's being added to the diet. It's actually quite munchable without bothering to turn it into porridge - then again, I used to eat oats straight, without milk or anything for that lovely sticky mouthful of chewy goo, so...

Half a tub of yoghurt a day will probably be sufficient. I only want a few spoons after a meal to give my tongue a 'sweet ending'.

When I get hungry now, it feels like a hole temporarily opens up in my stomach. The hole is surrounded by very dense, very solid other stuff, though. It's kind of a "hm, munchies would be nice" rather than a "WAAAANT FOOOOOOOD!" feeling.

Forgot to weigh myself last night. However, my trousers are slightly looser today even after eating. I'm not a big fan of the 'weighing myself every couple of hours' club. (Actually, I haven't weighed myself in months.) I'll weigh myself on Saturday, after I pass into Phase 2 of the diet - Cruise.
