Can haz Death Game naow!

It came in the same package as The Mermaid's Madness, Red Hood's Revenge, Butterfly Swords, and a trilogy of short stories by Misty Lackey, Michelle Sagara, and Cameron Haley.

(It's kind of interesting to read the finished product after I read the draft. The story seems somehow shorter when you're reading the draft chapters one by one as they're given to you...)

So I have lots of reading material for the coming days! (I mean, I already have quite a lot, but now I have more!)

Incidentally, has anyone read any of Scott Westerfield's novels? I got three of his books for hosting the NaNoWriMo Night Of Manuscripting Madness, and I've never read him before.

I completed NaNo, by the way. The actual story file is somewhere in the region of 30K and a part of me still thinks it's moving too slowly, but...this is the way this story wants to be told, so what can I do? I just want to finish the story, which - as always - is going to be the tricksy part.

Haven't yet read Westerfeld, but he's totally on my To Read list, on so many levels. Desperately want to read "Leviathan", and the sequel to that is now out (~sigh~) Meanwhile, Pretties/Uglies/etc (it's a four book series) comes so highly recommended by EVERYONE, and then there's PEEPS, which is the Vampire novel. Anyway, I'll be interested to see what you think. He's an author that I'd love to read, but who has been sidelined by my various 50books_poc attempts, which tends these days to take up the majority of my reading time.

Congrats on completing NaNo. With your busy life, that's an achievement.
