Also, it was Kate Freelander Love Day over at sanctuaryforall on the 4th: I know that most of my f-list who watch Sanctuary are 'meh' about her (especially compared to their fannish adoration of The Five), but it would be nice to see some of her fans go over and wave the flag, show some love. Please?

Finally, I'll be posting requests for your fanwork recs and meta about: a) Teyla, b) John/Teyla - iconic fanfics, meta, tropes, links, etc. for the sga_guide. I'm putting together those pages, and will be looking for not only specific fanworks, but also specific authors/artists who are known for their work about Teyla and John/Teyla. Oh, for heaven's sake, fandom. Get with it! It's Arthur/Guinevere. It's the literal definition of epic. *sigh* That's really disappointing; I thought that, once they went canon with Arthur/Gwen, the het fans would really latch on. Are they, um, still mostly obsessed with Arthur/Morgana instead? (I find that pairing basically so wrong, but that's because of Arthurian legend, not because of the show.)

I notice there's still Gwen/Morgana being written, but it's definitely taken a rather angsty turn lately. :(

I don't know. I never got into the Arthur/Morgana aspect of the show. There was a brief resurgence when S3 started to show, because of the whole "Arthur hunting for Morgana high and low" angle (although, it was definitely Uther pushing) and "I'm glad you're back" riff played between them a couple of times.

There's been a revelation mid-season that put a little bit of the kibosh on Arthur/Morgana, though.

I'm a bit disappointed myself - even in-fandom, a lot of the Arthur/Gwen stuff I saw around tended to be modern AUs. Then again, the show doesn't give Gwen a lot of agency, so that probably doesn't help when you're trying to write a story that isn't just about her and Arthur getting together...
