So...was there any point to this episode other than for the writers to get a hard-on about Henry and Will?
Okay, so there was a brief moment when everyone got a hard-on for Helen, but mostly...it was Henry and Will running around telling their dates just how awesome they were.
In a clip show.
Henry/Erica has some horrible hallmarks of Rodney/Katie...with the ring and the interrupted date - although at least Erica is geeky. And they are cute together, while Rodney/Katie was almost entirely in the awkward space.
I don't think I particularly like the view of m/f relationships as displayed by Will/Abby's dynamic and conversation about exes.
And of course it was directed by Peter deLuise.

Not that I hate Abby and Erica. On the contrary, I adore them. I just think they were incredibly ill-served by the writing and directing on this episode.

I'm not liking Abby much. A little too "big, blue-eyed, and breathless" for my tastes. Erica, I do like - there's this scene about 2/3 of the way through where she and Henry are just geeking out at each other. It really is the cutest thing.
