So...was there any point to this episode other than for the writers to get a hard-on about Henry and Will?

Okay, so there was a brief moment when everyone got a hard-on for Helen, but mostly...it was Henry and Will running around telling their dates just how awesome they were.

In a clip show.

Henry/Erica has some horrible hallmarks of Rodney/Katie...with the ring and the interrupted date - although at least Erica is geeky. And they are cute together, while Rodney/Katie was almost entirely in the awkward space.

I don't think I particularly like the view of m/f relationships as displayed by Will/Abby's dynamic and conversation about exes.

And of course it was directed by Peter deLuise.

I think I watched about 20 minutes of it, then gave up and skipped to the last five or six minutes. It was the heterocentric episode of doom, where boys are awesome and girls exist to sprain their ankles and gaze adoringly at their menfolk.

Not that I hate Abby and Erica. On the contrary, I adore them. I just think they were incredibly ill-served by the writing and directing on this episode.
