beyond stuck

I'm having a horrible time trying to write a non-epic story right now. Everything that I touch seems to suddenly turn into this crazy 40,000 word story that takes over my brain and I can't afford that!

Anyone got a spare SGA plotbunny they'd like to off-load? Could be a character and a prompt, could be a detailed description. No guarantees I'll write it as described, but it might just kick something off. (Hopefully non-epic!)
