I weighed myself on Saturday night - 60kg. *sigh* I'm going to spend the next couple of months trying to bring it down to 56kg.
Which means cutting carbs, sugars, and fats out of my diet for the weight-loss phase (attack), before slowly introducing it in the stabilisation phase.
Let's see how much I can lose by my birthday...

My hockey team is on a 7-win streak. Whether we can keep it going in the next couple of weeks is the question! This weekend might not be so bad (or it might), but the next weekend will be against the top-ranked team, who haven't lost a game yet.
Still, we're not doing so bad - we were 3rd on the ladder as of two weeks ago and we've had a few more wins since then!
--
And we're making progress on the kitchen after months of stalemate!
So we have the stove hob and the sink down on the bench, and the benches are in.

Still, there's a lot to be done.
1. We need to get the oven in, and the range hood over the stove, and they need to be connected.
2. The sink needs to be connected, and the wall behind it and the stove covered with a tiled splashback.
3. The dark-coloured cupboard doors up the top need to be replaced by the lighter doors (we've got them cut and everything), and then it's mostly cosmetic stuff.
4. We have a rolling central benchtop that needs to be put together.
5. Floor-to-ceiling cupboards are going to be installed on the right, out of the frame of the photo - one for each of us to keep her 'stuff' in, so it doesn't end up cluttering up the room.
Then we've got to decide what we're going to do with the space between the kitchen and the door where I took the photo. It used to be a 'sitting' space with the TV, but I was discussing it with my stepdad and we think it might be better if moved out into the next room.
There needs to be more discussion and planning about this.
