ARGH.

I think I have to face the facts that I suck at writing romance.

Personally, I don't think it's so much a matter of sucking at romance, as it is that you like active women, which leads to action sequences.

That is true. And the female characters I like tend to lead towards non-romantic tropes, even in their romantic relationships.
