For the four WIP I presently have with me:
1. They'd been human once.
2. The night was cold – breath-misting, heat-stealing, soul-sucking cold.
3. There is undoubtedly irony in the universe when a seventeen year old girl can find a woman who's been dead for over forty years while men three times her age carry on, oblivious to Peggy Carter's existence.
4. The thing about Extremis was that it was more than merely a limb regeneration project capable of turning humans into bombs. [spoilers for IM3, select to see]
Not sure if any of them will be finished anytime soon.
For the last ten fics I actually completed:

For the last ten fics I actually completed:
- Sunlight blinds Amarante as she watches the dove flutter up through the brilliant day and out through the oculus.
- Thor notes that Lieutenant Hill sits back from the table and watches as the others lean in to get food, her face almost expressionless, but for the faint leavening of the fierce line of her mouth.
- Of all the people Steve expected to find outside his apartment door, Lieutenant Hill didn't even make the list.
- At 1800 hours, Nick logs off the system, switches off his headset, and goes for a walk through the corridors of the helicarrier.
- She's a good kid, but Phil worries about her.
- Mrs. Salton had to go home – Mr. Salton would be expecting his dinner.
- Steve's fairly sure Maria does't have any idea how much like a pin-up girl she looks when she glances back over her shoulder as he brings the ice-cream in.
- An icy wind whipped the loose ends of Maria's hair as they landed in drifting snow.
- Maria waits until the crowds have gone, just as she did when they got Steve out of the ice.
- It's Steve who finds Lieutenant Hill with her back pressed against the SHIELD communications van and her arms wrapped around her waist.
