LET THERE BE REJOICING AND BAKLAVA, BUT MOSTLY REJOICING.

I think there are better options for character development in a TV series than in a movie series, and from the sound of it, they've set up Maria as being competent, hardass, hardcore, and drolly humourous in her commentary.

Even if it's just a guest role every now and then...

(Mind you, I'd still have to actually watch the show, which is going to be tricksy since me and TV series are not besties, or even close.)

I'm really getting stuck on the Epic Of Doom - mostly because I'm struggling to believe that anyone would want to read it, or that I can actually tell this story as I envision it in my head.

Sometimes it's just really difficult to get everything working the way one wants it to.

So, I have two options:

1. Continue with Epic Of Doom and hope I get it done in the next 5 weeks before I go away to the US.
2. Switch to the Psy-Changeling/Avengers fusion which I'm pretty sure I can make hit 20K easy.

Thoughts?

I was so happy to hear the news about Maria being on Agents of Shield.

Okay, now I have to watch it. I was going to be a casual watcher before, but I'll have to make sure to catch Maria's appearances.

Well, totally. Because she's awesome. Have you heard yet whether she's going to be in the second Avengers film at all? (You may have said, but with my sporadic internet time, I may have missed it.)

I doubt that will ever happen on a permanent basis, but Maria should certainly take over when Fury disappears (which happens on a more frequent basis than you'd think). I wouldn't mind Maria being in charge permanently, mind you! But I would want it to be with Fury retiring somehow instead of being the tragically dead black man, that's the only thing. I just don't think they're going to do that, though. Sadly.
