So it's a neat little house on a relatively small plot of land. Not entirely tree-free, but they're not hanging over the house, and are reasonably manageable.



Still having occasional WHAT HAVE WE DONE attacks, but coping.

It's adorable! How many people will be living there? 3? It looks so cute and cosy.

For the record, I live in a 1,200 square foot house (living level) -- (basement is 1K square feet with me getting 1/3 for sewing room, dh gets about 100 sq ft for his wood shop, there is a full bathroom down there, and then the rest is storage/utility). We have two adults and two kids. At the moment, only the 12 year is complaining that the house is too small :D Small houses rock!

Only 2 people in a 3br house, but also two indoor cats. There may be some complaining from the cats...

Yeah, this is about 1300 square feet (122 square metres). We're negotiating the sewing room at present... :)

At some point when you're actively fiddling around with possibly moving that drive way a diagram would be great, b/c this pic makes it difficult to see where else you could put it.

Heh, yes, I see what you mean. The street runs down to the right of the picture - I took it from the north-west corner of the property. The house faces approximately west (the street), with a large lawn in front. What you can't see is the other side of the property - the south-west corner - which has a couple of trees, but a wide enough space for a driveway and a carport/garage.

Which would leave the north side of the property with garden space to spare. :)

We might give that a year or two. :)

It does! And it's very liveable. The part that we're worried about is the state of it in and under the paint and the outside.

There are two equal-sized rooms and one larger room. I'm hoping I can persuade my sister that we take the equal-sized rooms as bedrooms and make the third one a 'workroom' - kind of like a second living space as well as the dining/kitchen, and lounge.
