Just because it inconveniences your work does not make it "high" priority.

If it crashes the system, stops the runtime processing, locks every table in the database, and halts major business operations, then yes, it's a "high" priority.

Formatting issues on a Payroll slip are not high priority. Not even close.

Someone not getting paid? That's a bit more like it.

I'm tired of everything being labelled 'high' priority. And I'm not going to work on it if I think it's lower priority, I'm going to dump it lower until you prove to me that not having the employee's group on the payslip is completely detrimental to the smooth and functional running of this business system.
