Not mine:
dzurlady's.
She went to the corresponding Friends of Science Fiction convention in Melbourne - Rachel Luttrell, David Nykl, Tony Amendola, and her report is here.
Apparently we're a bloodthirsty (or concerned) lot about who's gonna cark it next season.
...and I might have booked a spot in the February convention featuring Joe Flanigan in Sydney. Possibly. *shifty look*
*sigh* Hey, I'm tired of spending money in the thousands to meet you folks. I'd rather spend tens, but at least hundreds is manageable.

There have been rumours running through fandom about killing a character off, but there's been no confirmation by any PTB that I know of.
Most of it seems to have devolved into "Which character I like least and why they should be killed off rather than my favourite one" and assorted variants thereof.
Naturally, this includes a lot of character-bashing, which is always fun, enjoyable and mature behaviour in fandom.

I think my sister and I met you briefly with Inge et al just before lunch.

I'm a little iffy - BOBW is more expensive than FSF, and I liked the dynamic of FSF more than I have previous BOBW cons.
Just before lunch? Or at lunch? *tries to remember* Were you with...er...Narelle from Canberra? Or was that someone else?

Just before going to lunch, you were waiting with a group including Inge and a few others, including I think mcalex22 and derry667 near the escalators/toilet. I was with my sister.

Were we actually introduced at FSF? I'm generally pretty bad with names, although if I see your face, I'm likely to remember you. :)
Sorry. :-/

Well, that makes BOBW a bargain ;)

I dunno. We'll see how it goes. I don't think I've heard back from the organisers yet, so I don't know if I've got a place.
