I have tonight free. Although I'm contemplating buying an extra electric heater so I can work in the study and my sisters can gossip in the lounge, and I won't have to listen to them. The words in the head don't work when the words in the air are flying around...
Tomorrow is 'old lady quilting group' but I'm thinking I might skip the chatting and gossiping and just stay home and sew. I've done nothing since the last group, TBH, and I have several projects that need doing (okay, a few more than 'several', probably a dozen or so) before I go travelling in August.
I think I need to plant out the asparagus crowns I have if I want to have any hope of asparagus next summer. The thing is that there's nowhere really suitable to plant them: I've come to realise over the winter, that the backyard I planted out in summer gets almost no sun in winter.
