Client: "it was always our intention to have these systems check the validity of the data coming from the Contractor Systems".
If so, they didn't express it very well. Nowhere in the spec does it detail that our app should check the data and return it to the Contractor Systems if it's not correct.
Moreover, this guy did not involve himself ONCE during the development process. No inquiries, no curiosity about what we were doing or how we were doing it - nothing.
Have been trying to collect my brain to write ficlets, but today everything's just mush. (It doesn't help that my writing files are on my work laptop and I am working on the client computer.) And, of course, it's been a quiet week on LJ and DW, so there's not even anything much to read.
But there will be pumpkin pie for dessert tonight. With praline pecan sauce. Because.
