So, the drippy nose transalted to a twinging throat has translated to a raspy throat. I get hot flushes now and then. Occasionally my chest feels tight.

That said, I'm still up and around and doing well.

We're acquiring a thermometer this afternoon.

I imagine that, like in the US, they won't test you unless you're basically having trouble breathing or personally know someone who's had it.

Mostly, I'm tired. "I just want to sleep all times of the day" is a new mode for me and I don't like it much.

Also, that clip that Chris Evans posted on his twitter - the series where he's a parent who basically goes into full protection mode when his kid is accused of murder?

I wasn't going to say this on Twitter, but that is pretty much Steve Rogers in modern suburbia with a kid accused of murder. Hell, it's the bloody plot of CACW. Like, Steve doesn't care about right or wrong - it's right to him to protec whom he gonna protec, and he will fuck whatever shit up he need to fuck up to do it.

My still-bitter inner MCU fan says, "and he fucked up the entire damn universe by help splitting the Avengers, and then gets his no-responsibility happy ever after" while my cynical realist notes, "but really, what else can you expect of white men?"

I did a livestream of how to make a small 'wicking bed' to grow vegetables outside the back door, and I think it went okay.
