Okay, we're on the home stretch of the hiatus.

So who's going to be watching S4?

Currently, I'm presuming that all Elizabeth-fanatics and Shweirs are boycotting S4 other than the eps that have Elizabeth. If you're only watching "Elizabeth episodes", it doesn't count as "watching S4."

I'm looking for the people who are going to watch S4 - all of it - whether via network or download. And I'd rather like to know what they're looking forward to seeing (if they're looking forward to anything).

Me? I'm primarily looking forward to more Teyla. Surprising, eh?

Yes, I may be disappointed by it; I have before. But it's hope or despair. Despair ain't pretty; I'll stick with hope, thanks.

Well, me. :) I only ship in stories; I enjoy the characters individually and in assorted multiples (go, team!) on the show. I won't actually miss Elizabeth much, possibly because I was a fan of the JS Elizabeth and was disappointed by TH's version. I like Sam, always have, but I don't want her to mess with any of the dynamics already in place. I'm thinking she's not going to, though, and I'm hopeful. The Teyla developments sound interesting, and the plot appears to be thickening in all directions (and JM has said there'll be more J/R friendship stuff, wheee!) so I'm eagerly anticipating. I feel bad for anyone who's going off the show because of the changes, but it happens. Happened way back in X-Files fandom, too. There's always another show.

I'm so looking forward to it!

I'll watch SGA no matter what, because for me it's not all about one character. Teyla is my fav and if she was to be the one to leave I'd still watch because I love the show, it's an ensemble show... not the Weir story, or Carson story.

I am most looking forward to the development of Teyla this season. Other things I'm excited about our learning more about Sheppards past, Jeanie!!, Sam in command and Keller (I'm a Jewel fangirl, she needs to become a regular in season 5!!)

Oh, and there's always the added bonus of more ship progress!! *points to icon made by a uber talented person ;-)*

Weir fan, devastated she won't be there as much, but will be watching. I'm curious to see how they handle all of these changes to cast and story; even if it goes up in flames, I'll be there to see it. ;)

i'm still going to watch, despite being all about bands at the moment. *g*

i'm looking forward to see how these new changes are going to play out.

I will be watching for sure, though I am not sure how or when.

I really love the show...and they can't take it completely off the rails while (most of) the actors are still there, so I do have faith.

Bring it on!

I've been with the ethos of giving the show a fair chance to prove that certain changes aren't as questionable as I think they are.

Thus I will be watching with an open mind.

If all else fails, I still have John... *squishes*

I completely agree. If nothing else, we should still get the witty repartee.

I plan on watching S4 via downloads like I always end up having to do. I'm in it for the ensemble cast, really, and I'm not all that broken up about Wier. Or Sam coming over, for that matter. I'm looking forward to seeing how the team adapts to internal changes, both with Sam and with Carson's replacement.

I dunno. I think I'll watch the Weir eps and then decide. :p

Weir fan here, planning on watching S4!

I'm watching all of S4. I'm looking forward to just about everything. I'm one of the very few people excited for Carter coming. I'm happy Teyla is getting more stories, and I hope Elizabeth gets good stories the little she's in the season. There are a few other things I'm spoiled for that I'm excited about as well. :-)

Is September 28th here yet? I watch for the ensemble, but Elizabeth's always been the weakest link for me. I could never grow to like her, so I'm glad she's gone. Carson, on the other hand, not so much, but I think Keller is going to be a good addition to the cast.

I'm looking forward to seeing more team eps, character developments, a good season arc (seeing as though S2 and S3 were just a mess of episodes with an arc thrown haphazardly in there in the end)...pretty much the whole shibang. The episode I'm most looking forward to is "Doppleganger" - the Shep whump of all Shep whumps! :D I'm convinced they're going to deliever this year from all the spoilers I've read and the lurking I've done on various cast members websites and JM's blog. But I could be wrong.

I am very much looking forward to season 4. I need something to break up the monotany of law school, after all :)
Honestly, I am a fan of the show and not specific characters. Yes, I'll get annoyed if the show does something I don't like or something that doesn't make sense, (Like Carson's death) BUT I won't stop watching unless the show really goes down the drain. I have come to expect such things from SGA so am going in forewarned.

Of course I'm watching season four! I'm looking forward to it more than I want to be, frankly. I have high hopes for some more Teyla, and I'm afraid of being disappointed again. But at least we'll see pretty soon one way or the other.

Hopefully the season will inspire more J/T fic ... perhaps even from me. :)

Teyla is hands down why I keep watching. She's awesome and Rachel's totally a tv girlfriend. (Of course, Joe Flanigan and Kavan Smith also don't hurt.)

Oooh, and I hope Keller's going to be cool.

Count me in with those who will be watching the whole season.

I freely admit to having a few misgivings about Carter coming on board (though I do love her on SG-1--just not sure about her presence on SGA), but I'm still going to be watching. I'm looking very much forward to the promised character development for all of the team and am hopeful that it will make this a season to remember. (in a good way!)

As I'm a fan of all of the characters pretty equally at this point (since the departure of Carson, at any rate), I don't think that there's much that would make me totally give up on SGA. I also categorically refuse to throw in the towel when there's only hear-say and rumors at this point. I like to actually see what's going to happen before I boycott. Crazy talk, I know. ;D

I'm sincerely hoping that Elizabeth's departure (whether temporary or permanent) will shake things up a bit. I think Sam's arrival will help with that. Frankly, I'd like to see the gang give Sam a hard time. It's not that I don't like Sam or am a sadist or anything, but on SG-1 she was kinda the go-to person. She solved a lot of the crises, was a hero several times over, was one of the front runners for the Stargate program, one of the "cool kids", etc. I'd like to see her take a different role in Atlantis. She's not one of the founders, doesn't know as much about the Ancients or their technology, doesn't know how things work exactly, and I'd like to see her work through those adjustments. In short, I don't want her transition to be seamless because that, I think, would just ring false. Ooo, I've thought a lot about this. :)

I'm uber-excited about Teyla's story arc and I look forward to getting a lot more backstory on both her and Ronon as well as John and Rodney (to a lesser extent). Yea, S4!!

I'll be watching it if only to give myself fodder for possible crackfic.

As disappointed as I was with so much of last season, there were parts I really liked and parts that intrigued me. I too want to see how they handle the changes and I live in hope that they actually challenge the characters this time.

I'm a Weir-fan watching S4. Mainly just because I'll stic with the show more or less whatever. Even at it's worst it's got to be better than most of tv out there, and I do hope maybe that S4 won't suck as bad as predicted despite all the changes.
