Dear Everywoman author,

First up, thank you for writing for me! I hope it's not a chore, that you find yourself inspired, and that you won't struggle with the assignment.

Ultimately, what's here is suggestions to give you a direction to take the story. If they don't work for you, then feel free to find something that does. My only request is that the characters I've tagged are the centre of the story and the good guys.

I actually hate sleeping while I'm sick. It's an effort to breathe, and everything's sore, and I loathe swallowing to try to ease the dryness in the back of my throat. It would probably help to have a humidifier of some kind, but right now that would just end with me feeling cold and damp thanks to the weather. (It's been pretty cold and damp the last week, and will be so on and off over the next week.)

Spent most of the weekend gardening - got the garden into a semblance of organised, and need to plant some things today (very brief spells outside, where it is cold and where I tend to overwork myself) when I probably should have been writing or at least planning my [profile] handmade2handmade exchange. Tote bag, carry-bag, or zipper pouch? I don't know and am trying to decide.

Incidentally, [personal profile] monanotlisa, I know I offered you and wifey a quilt, but damned if I remember if I offered you a specific one. (I really need to write these down; I presently have three 'gifted' away in my head, and I'm starting to blur on which ones.) LMK!

This is either a very bad time to get sick if it lingers (right before going away) or a really good time to get sick if it passes (right before going away). Today (the public holiday) will be warm bed and kitteh, warm food, lemon and honey tea like it's going out of style, and rest (ahahahahaha, like that happens with me).

Trying to find a good bag pattern for my craft swap, but the best ones that I can find are the ones I've already made.

Either the Fireside Bowl Bag:

Or the Shiloh Satchel:
Finished Mermaids #shilohsatchel this afternoon before family dinner! #Saturdaynightcraftalong with @barefootcrafter

I'd probably downsize the Shiloh Satchel - there's a kind of 'handbag' option, instead of the full shoulderbag.

Question for you, though: which form would you be more likely to use? Particularly if it's made to one of your favourite fandoms?

I admit, I'm very heavily practical, so I usually run around with a FOSSIL leather satchel, but sometimes when I'm going somewhere where there are sewing people, I pick one or the other to use - they're pretty spacious inside and good for carrying plenty of things! (Although the Shiloh Satchel has so many pockets, I forget exactly what is where...)

Anyway, your thoughts?
