Okay, so you can't write 40,000 words of John/Teyla, Teyla/Lorne, or Ronon/Keller fic.

Fine. I still love you! (Sort of!)

But I'd love you more if you'd go in and offer to cheer and beta for myself and the half-dozen others writing John/Teyla and Ronon/Keller (and Rodney/Keller and a number of slash pairings) fic! No, really, I would...
Especially since I count four or five John/Teyla Big Bang sign-ups and no cheerleaders for John/Teyla at all. (The same situation stands with Ronon/Keller - and, hey, you guys actually have a fandom on LJ!)

Come on, peoples! You can slog read through 40,000 words and offer suggestions/critique/advice! You can put up with our moodswings cheer us on as we struggle against the tide of storytelling!

Do you want more fic about the rarepairs in fandom? Y/Y? Then offer to be pokers and prodders, cheer squads and soccer moms (except, you know, without the abuse of the ump, cos that spoils it for everyone), and sign up to be a cheerleader or a beta for the rarepairs. You can be specific about who you're cheering for, you know!

I'm kinda *sadface* that none of my prompts made it to the final list, but I do have an idea with one of the ones they proposed. I'm just going to...subvert it a wee bit.

Incidentally, since I suspect the John/Teyla writers are all watching this LJ, would you guys like to form a support group? Complete with whatever cheerleaders and betas we can scrape together?

I wasn't aware that you could sign up to cheerlead separate from beta-ing (which I so don't have time to do), but I've signed up now :D

Cheerleading would involve things like nudging along the writers, pointing them in the direction of porn fic art distractions help when they're stuck on a plotbunny and can't get off. :)

And, you know, possibly writing little ficlet-y things of the characters making out or being silly, just to cheer the writers up! (Optional, of course, but gratefully accepted!)

I can do that. I just mean I wouldn't have time to go through a 40,000 word+ story several times with a fine-tooth comb and edit; like the way I can't seem to find time now to read the new book I've been waiting ages to get, but I have no problem reading much shorter things in bits and pieces.

I'm not sure I have time to go through a 40,000 word fic right now! Especially writing one!

But your assistance and whatever encouragement you can give me and the others will be very much appreciated!
