I hate sga_flashfic

They suck. No, really, they do.

They put up these really interesting ideas and one minute I'm happily writing my plotbunnies and the next my brain is eaten by ZOMG!Thesga_flashficPlotbunniesOfDOOM!

Four. Four damned bunnies! One is long, two are medium sized, and one is comprised of little ficlets connected through a common theme.

So far, all the main characters have lined up through my brain for a spell at giving in to their dark sides. Except Carson. *loves Carson* Thank you, Carson, for not BREAKING MY BRAIN! Hell, even Teyla is doing dark - which should technically be impossible since the woman is so damn balanced. But she's right in there along with the boys and Lizzie, all going down paths they really do not want to go down and which I do not want to write them down. WAAAAH!

Bloody flashfic challenges. GAH!

ps. Yes, I watched 3.01. Yes, it was good. Some nice moments, good drama, and suspense. There is hope for the new season, but I'm holding off full judgement until next week.

I'll admit, I'm not really hugely into reading other LJs other than my f-list, who I like for being interesting people, not necessarily for their interests.

I guess there's also the feeling that the fandom is so skewed towards Shep/McKay that there's no point in trying to balance it out.

I have one original fiction story that I told a friend she could hassle me about (and she is!)! I have four plotbunnies of Dark Side Evolness to write! I have a John/Teyla crackerrific fic of possible epicness that wants to be written (they have secks in my brain while I'm at work - have you ever tried to write computer programs while characters are having secks in your brain?)! That bloody fanfic100 that I want to finish but don't have the time. And a dozen other plotbunnies that are quietly chewing away!

Plus a regular job with commuting time, family to placate/appease, and ZOMG NO TIME TO GET THE REALLY NICE CHOCOLATE I AM CRAVING RIGHT NOW.

*falls apart*

Uh...not right now. I'm sorta all dark-sided out. If Carson comes up with something, I'm going to kill him, so Caldwell is better off waiting for that Caldwell&Teyla working-together piece that's bouncing around in the back of my brain.

I'm interested to see Weir go head-to-head with the bureaucrats next week, but probably more interested to see how Teyla deals with a shipload of guys all psyched-up on their success and descending on Atlantis, complete with Michael. If they actually let her deal with it, that is...

When Mom's away, Atlantis is going to go nuts.
