Dear Author...

Sorry, this is a bit belated, and mostly adds in my trope likes and DNWs

likes
- action-and-romance stories, where all the things happen and a couple just happens to come together in the
- slice-of-life stories that tell about how characters come to an understanding of themselves (or an understanding of their relationship if the story is about a relationship)
- het or gen (gen = no romantic focus, although background relationships being mentioned are fine)
- relationships that are developed out of friendships and commonality - the process of learning each other and getting accustomed to each other
- female characters
- female characters doing their job, living their lives, struggling with their individual challenges, and developing friendships

Helen Cho: As one of my friends mournfully noted, we're probably never going to get to see Helen again. I'd love a story about her and one of the women - Maria in particular, since Maria would have been working daily with the Avengers during the time when Helen was working with Bruce on the cradle. Also: T'Challa's strength and speed - i'm sure that she'd be interested in looking him over, perhaps comparing him with the stats she'd have on Captain America.

Sam Wilson: a truly good man, with strong loyalties - I'd like to see him interacting with others in ways that emphasise that loyalty, and show others as being willing to be loyal to him. If you're writing Sam/Bucky, please be wary of making Sam the 'tender fixer' of Bucky - reciprocity, and mutual care, not Bucky-as-the-wounded-bird that Sam has to take care of, please! I'd love a story about Sam and Maria as buddies, keeping an eye on things, managing the situation, and possibly getting out to have a drink and a yarn.

Nick Fury: he put his heart and soul into SHIELD all those years, and then had the rug pulled out from under him. I'd rather like to see him and Maria interacting - mentor and protege, without any sexual aspect - just care and concern and trust. How did they get there?

James Rhodey Rhodes: I liked how he and Maria kept in company with each other during the party scene in Age of Ultron, but also how he and Pepper interacted in IM2. There'd have to be trust there, friendship, affection - how was it developed? Rhodey/Carol: if you want to do a mentor/protege relationship between them, that works too. I think Rhodey would be a pretty awesome mentor for a young firebrand like Carol.

Melinda May: I haven't watched past mid Season2 of Agents of SHIELD so I'm not conversant with the most recent character events. However, I would love a story about Melinda, her mom, Maria Hill, and just how this unholy trinity of women get into trouble (or, really, get out of it).

Antoine Triplett: Still mad they killed him off. I'd like to see him and Maria Hill working together: add Akela Amador into the mix, and mayhem ensues!

Akela Amador - How does she deal with coming back from the dead, with being free to act on her own again? Does she interact with other former Agents of SHIELD - Nick Fury, Maria Hill? How do they bring her back up to speed on what's been going on in the world?

If you want to write any of the POC interacting with each other, I'm perfectly okay with that. The reason I mention Maria Hill so frequently is that she's my favourite character, and I like seeing her in the middle of stories, being active and practical and valuable and valued as a heroine and a friend. That said, I definitely want the story to be about the POC - just if they're interacting with anyone, let it be with Maria!

If I've listed something as a romantic/sexual pairing above (sexual, with a slash "/") then I'm also happy to receive it as a friendship (non-sexual, with an ampersaon). However, if I've listed it as a friendship, I don't want it as a romantic pairing, thanks.
