Basically, I need to update/redo my icon list. I have 100 here (I had 280 over at LJ) but that's really more than enough, I just need to cull them down to the ones that I really like and which I think are worth keeping.

Oh, and maybe make a few more of my own. I haven't made icons in ages.

I'm also in a mad subscription rush right now, which I may regret in a day or so when I look at how fast my reading page starts moving. There was a time on LJ when I simply couldn't keep up with the number of posts that appeared on my Flist, and ElJay sucked away a great deal of time commenting and conversing. Although that also was valuable in the sense of 'making friends'.

tl;dr: need more icons, ambivalent about DW becoming more busy.

So, apparently I haven't posted one of these for over a year!

Mostly created for the sgwomen_itest and the sga_icontest, they're primarily of Teyla and the other women of Stargate, although there are 6 Ronon, 4 Rodney, 2 John, 2 Radek, and a couple of team icons in there, too!

sga_icontest | No Son Of Mine | midday November 30th, NZ time
I was hoping for the shot of Teyla on the ledge in the final denouement, but no cigar. On the plus side, there are clear, sharp caps of Teyla in the challenge, which is a rarity in icontests.

It never ceases to astonish me that, for a woman as gorgeous as Rachel Luttrell, the promo shots of Teyla tend to be extremely ordinary or very blurred, and the caps are rarely much better.

And speaking of icontest promotions: sgwomen_itest is voting on Challenges 1 & 2 (Text and Pictures), and Challenge 3 (Whispers).

Sadly, there aren't too many entries. It's been a quiet last few icontests for them.

Well, they voted me off the island this week over at lantis_lims. Not entirely unexpected, although I was hoping to hold on until at least Round 10.

I guess I should be grateful I lasted this long.

sg_rarepairings is done and being beta'd. sg_ep_ficathon is coming along nicely. All my genfics have stalled. So have my het fics. So has my original fic. NaNo is bunk.

*sigh*
