I haven't done half enough reccing of late. Probably because I haven't been reading too much of late, either. :(

Anyway, a couple that I spotted and am instantly reccing!

Arm's Length by [livejournal.com profile] blade_girl.
Genfic. Missing post-episode. Ronon POV. Just the right tone of voice and angle and attitude for him. And a fantastic look at the friendship and connection between Teyla and Ronon, post-Missing.

She doesn't overtly shun him, doesn't get up and leave the table when he comes to sit down in the mess, and when they're all together, she treats him exactly as before. There is nothing that anyone else might witness and conclude from it that she is shutting him out.

Conversations - Part 1 and Part 2 by [livejournal.com profile] agriope23
Genfic. Conversations between characters up to Tabula Rasa. I think they're all supposed to be Teyla and John, but at least one of them feels more like Teyla and Rodney to me. Anyway, the tone of each of the conversations is perfect: serious and playful in one.

"If you apologize to me, I'll have to do the same to you and considering how not enough that would be, what do you say we just leave it at 'what a crap day!'"

Five Things Our Fathers Taught Us (Inadvertantly) by [livejournal.com profile] smilebackwards
Genfic. Awesome characterisation - even though they're just children, there's the kernel of who they will be as adults, their nature. It's awesome and adorable and yet also a little heartbreaking in some ways.

Claire says, "I love you, Daddy!" with such fervor. Like it will save her.

I Loved France, But Did France Love Me? (Heroes/Spooks crossover) by [livejournal.com profile] the_grynne
Hetfic. Harry(Spooks)/Angela Petrelli (Heroes). Set pre-series. The characterisation is good - from what I remember of Spooks, anyway - and Angela Petrelli would so screw whoever she needed to screw in the service of whatever or whoever it is that she serves.

the descent by [livejournal.com profile] ohhfantastic
Genfic. The Petrellis in old age. This is incredibly powerful in the way the story takes us down, layer by layer, a blurring of the years as the Petrelli's head towards death.

It had taken many, many years for Claire Bennet to reach a conclusion: her blood was not an elixir.
